BIOGRAPHY

A multiple Broadway World Cabaret Award nominee and an A.F.A. in Theater from Middlesex County College, his career continues to blossom in the worlds of Theater, Film, TV, & also Cabaret / Concert scene all over New York City

​

New York Theater: Neverland Never Ends (TheatreLab), Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (50th Anniversary Lincoln Center Concert), The Events (New York Theater Workshop), Cherish Every Precious Moment (The Producer's Club), & various Off Broadway showcases with The Actor's Project NYC.

Film / TV: The Equalizer, Maestro, West Side Story, Saturday Night Live, Arnie Johnstone & The Vulva Tree, Urge, Nerve, The Carrie Diaries, Home, The Leftovers, Law & Order SVU, Admission, Blue Bloods, & more.

Cabaret / Concerts: Michael has been performing his own solo cabaret act Face the Music, following his journey of life & how the power of music & the arts impacted the way he overcome obstacles. He has performed his show to packed audiences at The Duplex, The Laurie Beechman Theatre, Rockwood Music Hall, and most recently The Green Room 42. It also earned Michael multiple Broadway World Cabaret Award nominees. In addition to his solo show, he performsfrequently at Don't Tell Mama in Seth Bisen Hersh's Talent Showcase and the Let's Broadway cabaret series. He's also performed at 54 Below, The West End Lounge, Lincoln Center, & The Triad NYC.

 

On June 7th, 2024, Michael released his debut studio solo Face the Music for music streaming and downloading. It's an original song he co-wrote for his solo show of the same name alongside Award winning songwriting duo Selda Sahin & Derek Gregor.

This Holiday season, Michael will have an exciting lineup of festive themed gigs. On December 15th, 2024, he will premiere his sophomore solo cabaret act A Happy Haber Holiday at The Red Eye NY performing an intimate evening of holiday music with his all-female band. The weekend after for 2 nights only on December 20th- 21st, 2024, he will be making his debut at Carnegie Hall, joining forces part of the Essential Voices USA Choir, as part of the New York Pops' Merry & Bright concert featuring Broadway favorite Jessica Vosk.

When he's not on stage or in front of the cameras, Michael is your everyday person that like to travel, swim, long walks, take photos, great restaurants, hanging with family & friends, and spread positivity.
